SYNOPSIS
After his mother's death, young João steals an image from the church because it resembles her. The act brings the boy closer to his father, Pedro, but unleashes the fury of the town priest and the prejudice of the community. Persecuted and isolated, father and son will need to unite to overcome their grief and the hostility around them.
