Victor, with a wide, shy and constant smile,

goes up and down the alleys on the outskirts of the Jardim América neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte, to train and play tennis in an upscale neighborhood of the city.

Tennis Match portrays the daily life of someone who was born and raised in an environment where almost everything contributes or leads to a tragic end for black youth. The pain that took other boys will not take away Victor's smile.
